Up and Down Texans Up Again - (12/17)

Just when I thought the Texans would win only 6 game this season they spite me by winning two in a row.  I'm telling you this is a different team at home. Right now the Texans are on a winning streak high AND Mario Williams is playing like he deserved the number one pick.  Certainly playing better than those other two guys who we've been beat over the head with. Houston is 5-2 with Andre.  2-5 Without.  That makes me sick.  What might have been. Also from the glass half empty section the damn turnovers.  If instead of being the worst in all of football at turning the ball over what would their record be if they were in the middle.  That has to be worth at least one if not two more wins. Oh well.  Two VERY difficult games left against the Colts and the Jags.  Should be fun.  If they split the Texans will have their first non-losing season.  Baby steps.

Houston's backups will get opportunities Sunday against Tampa (AP) - (12/05)

The Houston Texans' growing list of injuries is creating opportunities for others thirsting for a chance to play. Sage Rosenfels is the likely starter, and that would make former Kentucky star Shane Boyd the backup.

Turnovers and Injuries: Your 2007 Houston Texans - (12/02)

If they put together a DVD on the 2007 Houston Texans on the cover should be a picture of a Texan player fumbling the ball.  The Texans added two more turnovers today to bring their league leading total to 31.  And again the turnovers resulted in points for the other team.  They say turnovers are a reflection of coaching if that is the case then the Texan coaching staff must be the worst in the league. Houston had a chance in this game.  They scored a TD to bring them within one score.  The defense forced a punt but someone must have reminded Jones the Texans hadn't turned the ball over yet on the day because he muffed the punt.  Turnover which set up an easy TD for the Titans, so easy Vince, Uncle Rico, Young didn't even have to put the ball in the air. Adding insult to injury Matt Schaub had to leave the game early with an injured left shoulder.  The Titans once again executed their game plan of hurt the starting QB for the second time this season versus Houston.

Texans quarterback Matt Schaub injured in first quarter (AP) - (12/02)

"Matt has a dislocated shoulder, and that's all I know at this point," Kubiak said.

Texans fighting turnover bug this season (AP) - (11/29)

Owen Daniels didn't fumble once last season as a rookie for the Houston Texans. He hasn't been so lucky this year. With a fumble in each of the last two games, the tight end has helped push Houston's total to 14 this season, which is tied for second most in the NFL. Adding to the turnover problem is Houston's 15 interceptions.

Texans Suck Once Again: I'm Done - (11/25)

They finally done it.  It took 6 years of crappy football but the Texans have finally destroyed my love for football in terms of cheering for the home town team.  Leading the world in turnovers and not being able to score more than 10 points against the WORST defense in the league will do that to a person. Props to the defense who played their ass off against a great offensive team.  Owen Daniels STOP fumbling the ball.  Andre Johnson, where are you?  Chew on this.  Teams have scored over 100 points off of Texans turnovers this season.  The Texans have scored about 40 on turnovers they forced.  It is AMAZING they have won as many games as they have with such a piss poor ratio. From now on it is fantasy football and other forms of gambling that keep me interested in the NFL.  My son will thank me many years from now. Oh and Gus Johnson is annoying as hell when he is going against your team.  And Jamal Lewis is running like he never went to prison.

    Houston?s Alamo is in Cleveland - (11/25)

Like the garrison of Texian rebels that defended The Alamo to the bitter, bloody end, Houston’s play-off aspirations are on the line today in Cleveland, and the Texans have one chance to defend it from the murderous spaniards — er, Browns. As I write this, Houston leads 10-7 with four and a half minutes left in [...]
