    Dolphins On The Run | Dec. 18, 2007 - (12/18)

Stop the presses, it's a WIN! The Dolphins avoid the imperfect season with a dramatic overtime turnaround to beat the Ravens at home. The victory was their first in 14 tries this season, and the first in over a year for the beleaguered franchise. The emotional triumph also comes on the heels of the revelation that disappointed owner Wayne Huizenga is in talks to sell the team, and before Miami heads to New England to tangle with the still perfect Patriots. Phil Latzman and Jeff Darlington break down a big week for the franchise, both on and off the field, in this edition of Dolphins on the Run.

    Dolphins On The Run | Dec. 11, 2007 - (12/11)

Another week, another horrifying loss for the now 0-13 Miami Dolphins who appear on a collision course with dubious NFL history. The latest setback -- their 16th in a row dating back to last season, was a turnover-filled 38-17 defeat in Buffalo. And now, on top of it all, another quarterback controversy is emerging with the Baltimore Ravens coming to town this week. As the losses and injuries pile up, the frustration mounts as well. Phil Latzman and Armando Salguero discuss the Dolphins ever-worsening season in this edition of Dolphins on the Run.

    Dolphins On The Run | Dec. 5, 2007 - (12/05)

It's the "Dirty Dozen" for the 2007 Miami Dolphins, who take an 0-12 record and a 15-game overall losing streak into Buffalo this Sunday. All-Pro linebacker Zach Thomas is the latest injury casuality, officially out for the season with lingering effects of a concussion. Can Cam Cameron keep his winless bunch from coming apart at the seams before the season comes to its merciful end? And how much is he and his staff to blame? Phil Latzman and Jeff Darlington discuss the latest misery in this edition of Dolphins on the Run.

    Dolphins On The Run | Nov. 29, 2007 - (11/29)

It's 'woe' and 11 now for the Miami Dolphins, who during a muddy quagmire in Pittsburgh, lose Ricky Williams for the season just six plays into a return from his latest suspension. Running on empty, the Dolphins' best chance to win a game this season could be Sunday as they host the 2-9 New York Jets. Phil Latzman and Armando Salguero dissect the Dolphins' latest disaster in this week's Dolphins on the Run.

    Dolphins On The Run | Nov. 21 - (11/21)

Another week, another loss for the Dolphins, who fall to 0-10 after getting grounded again by the Eagles. Rookie John Beck made a lackluster debut at quarterback, but -- as the Dolphins try to avoid a winless season -- the focus of attention now shifts back to Ricky Williams who could play as soon as Monday night in Pittsburgh. Jeff Darlington with analysis in this week's Dolphins on the Run.

Greg Camarillo the next Wes Welker? - (12/18)

“Holding #83 of the return team.” Before Sunday afternoon, that was the phrase Greg Camarillo was going to be remembered by. He was going to take the burden to his grave that during their week 10 game, he was solely responsible for keeping his team winless when his hands negated a 99 yard kick return touchdown by Ted [...]

Trent Green still has value - (12/18)

Trent Green might not be on the field quarterbacking the Dolphins, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy. No he hasn't returned to calling the plays. Cam Cameron will continue to hold onto that job for the rest of...

VICTORY! Dolphins snap slide with OT win against Ravens - (12/16)

YouTube brings us the final play of the Dolphins-Ravens game on December 16th, 2007. Cleo Lemon hits Greg Camarillo for a 64 yard TD pass, the Dolphins longest play from scrimmage this season. Much more importantly, the play occured in overtime, and gave the Dolphins their first win of the 2007 season. [...]

    Time to exhale - (12/16)

Jason Taylor and Dom Capers had one of those slow motion exchanges you only see at the airport when family members are reunited. The Dolphins franchise player and its defensive coordinator were so elated by the franchise's first victory in...

Week 15: Dolphins vs Ravens preview - (12/15)

MATCHUP The Baltimore Ravens are a tough team to size up. While they do own the second longest losing streak in the NFL this year (three guesses who is first), they did come within a referee of beating the undefeated New England Patriots. Three times. In their franchise history against the Dolphins, they’ve only won one [...]

Wayne Huizenga to sell the Dolphins? - (12/14)

The Miami Herald is reporting that Miami Dolphins owner H. Wayne Huizenga is in talks to sell the team. Billionaire real estate developer Stephen Ross, who recently bought a $32 million mansion in Palm Beach, is reportedly in talks with Huizenga to purchase both the team and Dolphin Stadium. Huizenga has owned the team sine 1994. [...]

Is play-calling too much for Cameron? - (12/13)

Ravens coach Brian Billick is considering giving up the play-calling next season after directing Baltimore's 25th-ranked offense this season. I asked him if it was even more difficult for a rookie head coach to handle both roles as Cam Cameron...

    Who'll stop the run? - (12/13)

The Dolphins already had a hard time stopping the run this season with some of its better defenders, but as the season had gone forward, and bodies begin to wear down, the problem has gotten worse. Can you believe the...

Is John Beck still the Dolphins? future? - (12/12)

So, as Sean informed us earlier, John Beck’s first stint as the Dolphins’ starting quarterback will come to an end this week when Miami takes on Baltimore. Cam Cameron is going back to Cleo Lemon for the remainder of the year in a last ditch effort to convice Wayne Huizenga and all of us that [...]

    A coach's true essence - (12/12)

When pondering Cam Cameron's fate and the difficult decisions Wayne Huzienga will have to make at the end of the season, I've had difficulty getting something out of my head. I'm a firm believer that an organization has to have...

Drinking Lemon-ade instead of Beck?s: Cleo Lemon to start against Ravens - (12/12)

And the other shoe drops. It is now official that all Cam Cameron cares about is now, winning a game, and saving his skin. It was announced today that QB Cleo Lemon will start Sunday’s game against Baltimore, returning rookie QB and supposed franchise savior John Beck to the bench. As I said when [...]

The perfect solution? Cameron again mentioned in Wolverines? coaching search - (12/11)

I hadn’t heard this the first time, but I have no idea how I missed it. Or why I didn’t think of it. It’s the perfect solution. Last year, the college ranks took our head coach. This year, we may just give him away. The Michigan Wolverines are looking for a new coach. [...]

    Getting desperate - (12/10)

Enough of this stay-the-course talk. It's time to smash the panic button, repeatedly. With three games left and 0-16 staring them in the face, the feel of the Dolphins locker room finally had the scent of desperation. Veterans weren't concerned....

Dolphins fall to embarassing 0-13; fans clamor for Coach?s job NOW - (12/10)

Near the start of the season, I defended Dolphins rookie head coach Cam Cameron.  Give him time. Look at what he has to work with.  It’s not his fault. The past few weeks, I’ve switched to the “Fire Cam at season’s end” camp. The team has seemed uninspired, and I felt after 10 STRAIGHT losses that [...]

    A new low each week - (12/09)

Anytime you're inclined to think the Dolphins have hit rock bottom, the depths of despair keep going deeper. It just seems like new lows can be found each Sunday, and the 38-17 smackdown the Dolphins received from Buffalo backs that...

    Week 14: Dolphins @ Bills preview - (12/08)

Things have gotten bad for the 0-12 Miami Dolphins. So bad that Dolphins merchandise is being put on discount racks three weeks prior to Christmas. So bad that the only thing Hall of Famer, Mercury Morris can do to ease his pain is rap and use expressions like ‘gee willikers’. So bad that the we [...]

    Five Must Do's - (12/08)

The season's been flushed down the toilet. Most fans think all the Dolphins can look forward to in the final four games of the 2007 season is avoid becoming the first team in NFL history to go 0-16. But there's...

    Comedy at Camp - (12/06)

It's starting to feel like I'm in the middle of a sitcom covering the Dolphins. On Monday it felt like I was watching the movie Office Space during the press conference following the embarrassing Jets loss. Remember that scene where...

Thomas, Worrell land on IR; Six more gimpy - (12/05)

Those that were pondering how this season could possibly get any worse got their answer on Monday. Middle linebacker Zach Thomas was placed on IR, ending his year and maybe his career. Thomas was still suffering from chronic migraines that stemmed from a “minor” car accident he was involved in while driving back from the [...]

M-I-A-M-I?stinks, stinks stinks! Jets pound Dolphins, now 0-12 - (12/05)

Let me be honest.  I could not make myself write this summary.  And don’t be fooled, as I’m really not.  I can’t go through that game again.  This was the game I turned off early.  This was the game that made me cringe at the idea that I am a FAN of this team.  I [...]

Will Zach be back? - (12/04)

As expected the Dolphins shut down Zach Thomas for the rest of the season after he was unable to shake concussion-related symptoms that have knocked him out of the last five games and seven overall. What wasn't expected was the...

Ravens a victim of NFL?s love affair; Dolphins next? - (12/04)

With the NFL’s only perfect head coach, Don Shula looking on from M&T Bank Stadium’s press box, the Baltimore Ravens, holding a seven point lead, lined up opposite the 11-0 New England Patriots with 1:48 remaining. 4th and 1 from the 30 yard line. Tom Brady keeps it. Stuffed. Ravens begin to celebrate. But wait. [...]

    The barometer doesn't lie - (12/02)

What does it mean when the Dolphins get embarrassed by a bad team? The Jets are probably the second worst team in the NFL this season - behind only these sad Dolphins - and Miami can't even touch New York....
