    3 Point Blowout - (08/19)

The Browns lost their second straight pre-season game on Monday at the hands of the world champion New York Giants and it certainly wasn’t as close as the 37-34 score would appear. Now I am not going to bash the Browns and write that they played awful and all these changes need to be [...]

    Slot Receiver Battle and Pre-season game #2 - (08/17)

Much has been made about the competition for the Browns’ third wide receiver spot, and with the injuries to Joe Jurevicius, Braylon Edwards, and more recently Kevin Kasper, the depth of the Browns’ receivers will be greatly tested. As the second pre-season game is coming up tomorrow we will take a closer look at [...]

    Browns Pre-season Game #1 - (08/08)

Thursday night marked the start 2008 pre-season for the Cleveland Browns, where the only thing that matters is staying healthy really. On that note the Browns’ performance against the Jets was nearly perfect with no injuries to speak of from last night’s game. However, as most games go there is a winner and [...]

An Early Look at the Browns? Running Backs and Safeties - (08/08)

Since 1999 the Running Back position for the Brown’s, much like the QB position, has lacked a true perennial contributor at least until this past season. Since the Browns’ rebirth the teams has only average dmore than 4 yards per carry for a season once, 2003, and only had a 1000 yard rusher once, [...]

As many of you know this past Friday the Browns held a controlled scrimmage in front of around 26,000 fans in the stadium. Romeo Crennel knows all about expectations. A year ago, folks expected him to be fired. This year, at least in Cleveland, they expect him to get the Browns to the Super Bowl. Imagine your boss asking you to take a 40 percent cut in salary, then adding that this will be your last year on the payroll. Ouch. Now, imagine being able to smile about it.
