    Losman faring well - (08/25)

LOSMAN FARING WELL: J.P. Losman is 13-19 (68%) passing for 108 yards prior to the current drive. But more important is his decision making has been very consistent. A solid performance thus far.

    Fantastic drive! - (08/25)

FANTASTIC DRIVE: For a drive that began deep in their own territory it was well called by Turk Schonert and well executed by J.P. Losman. Xavier Omon did a nice job coming in midway through the drive and has a natural nose for the end zone with almost 100 touchdowns in his college career (98).

Walker heads to locker room - (08/25)

WALKER INJURED: Langston Walker just walked off the field after suffering what appeared to be a left arm injury. We'll have an update if one becomes available.

Preston in at center - (08/25)

PRESTON IN AT CENTER: Duke Preston is in at center on the team's third possession for Melvin Fowler. Also looks like Josh Reed and Marshawn Lynch's nights are over.

Well, it has been fun? - (05/06)

Hey Guys, Unfortunately, I will be stepping down as the writer for the Bills and Sabres pages here at MVN.com. It’s been a lot of fun writing and interacting with you readers over the past few years, but it’s time for me to move on. I’ve officially graduated from Northeastern University and have accepted a full-time [...]

Easterbrook tears into ex-Bills GM Donahoe - (04/29)

While watching draft coverage on ESPN this weekend, I cringed when Chris Mortensen found a way to bring up former Bills GM Tom Donahoe. I believe it was after the Patriots took quarterback Kevin O’Connell. Mort said that he talked to Donahoe before the draft and the worst decision maker in NFL history had the QB [...]

Should rookie McKelvin take over return duties for Bills? - (04/29)

When the Buffalo Bills? first-round pick Leodis McKelvin was introduced to the media over the weekend, he was told that the Bills already have two good returners. His response? ?They can share it,? McKelvin said. “They are going to have to give me some time. I’ve been doing it the past four years and nothing but [...]

Bills? rookie McKelvin appears on ESPN?s First Take - (04/29)

Buffalo Bills rookie corner Leodis McKelvin appeared on ESPN’s First Take this morning to talk about being drafted. He’s a bit hard to understand with his heavy southern accent. Seems like a good guy though.

Bills rookies choose numbers - (04/28)

For those of you looking to get a new Buffalo Bills jersey, the rookies selected over the weekend have chosen their numbers. First round pick Leodis McKelvin claimed No. 28, which was last worn by running back Anthony Thomas. If you picked up a cheap Thomas jersey, you could change the nameplate to save yourself [...]

Buffalo Bills select cornerback Kennard Cox with third seventh-round pick - (04/27)

With the No. 251 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select cornerback Kennard Cox from Pittsburgh. The pick is one before Mr. Irrelevant. He is 6-0, 195 pounds and runs a 4.58, which isn’t good for a corner. But he is the second corner on the Bills roster [...]

Buffalo Bills select wideout Steve Johnson with second seventh-round pick - (04/27)

With the No. 224 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select wide receiver Steve Johnson out of Kentucky. Johnson measures in at 6-2 and 200-pounds. After two years at Chabot College, Johnson enrolled at the University of Kentucky. He struggled to adjust, ending up in the coach’s doghouse [...]

Buffalo Bills select T Demetrius Bell with seventh-round pick - (04/27)

With the No. 219 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select offensive tackle Demetrius Bell out of Northwestern State. The 6-5, 303-pound Bell could provide depth along the team’s offensive line. He went to Northwestern State on a basketball scholarship and never played football. Bell made the football [...]

Buffalo Bills select RB Xavier Omon with sixth-round pick - (04/27)

With the No. 179 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills take running back Xavier Omon out of Division II Northwest Missouri State. This is by far the most baffling of Buffalo’s picks in the draft. I thought they would go center here, but the team elected to go [...]

An interesting note from Browns game - (12/18)

Hard not to feel bad for Lindell - (12/18)

    Moorman had a tough task - (12/18)

Former Bills not Pro Bowl bound - (12/18)

Crowell has an argument - (12/18)

CROWELL HAS AN ARGUMENT: Looking at the AFC Pro Bowl picks for the OLB position it's obvious that 3-4 LBs have a major advantage. Since they rush the passer a lot more they can rack up a lot more sacks, an overvalued stat for linebackers. Pittsburgh's James Harrison (who I believe is deserving) had 8.5 sacks, but he also have four pass breakups, an INT, seven forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He also had a respectable 89 total tackles. At least he had numbers across the board.
