Crowell has an argument - (12/18)

CROWELL HAS AN ARGUMENT: Looking at the AFC Pro Bowl picks for the OLB position it's obvious that 3-4 LBs have a major advantage. Since they rush the passer a lot more they can rack up a lot more sacks, an overvalued stat for linebackers. Pittsburgh's James Harrison (who I believe is deserving) had 8.5 sacks, but he also have four pass breakups, an INT, seven forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He also had a respectable 89 total tackles. At least he had numbers across the board.

Bills out of playoff race - (12/18)

BILLS OUT OF PLAYOFF RACE : For those that don't know already there's no way Buffalo can get into the playoffs at 9-7. That's because Buffalo can't catch Jacksonville (10 wins) and there are two teams that can finish no worse than 9-7 that have them on head-to-head tiebreaker in Pittsburgh and Cleveland.

In his first full season at left tackle, Jason Peters is going to the Pro Bowl as a starter. Peters will join the Patriots? Matt Light as the starting tackles for the AFC team. Roscoe Parrish?s new contract numbers - (12/18)

Last Friday, I posted about Roscoe Parrish?s contract extension, but the length and amount of money was unknown at the time. However, I?ve done some digging and come up with the answers. Previously, Parrish?s contract was set to expire after the 2008 season and he would earn $520,000. Parrish?s base salary in 2008 is still the [...]

Bills forced to bus home after playoff hopes dashed in Cleveland (AP) - (12/17)

Mother Nature sure had it in for the Buffalo Bills this weekend. Bad enough that a blizzard contributed to Buffalo's loss at Cleveland on Sunday, ending the team's playoff chances. Then, following an unscheduled overnight stay because of bad weather, the Bills were forced to bus home Monday after their charter plane got stuck in mud off a runway in Cleveland.

    Bills Week 15 Report Card - (12/17)

Quarterbacks: It?s hard to gauge Trent Edwards performance by the numbers due to the snowy conditions. He completed 13-33 passes for 124 yards, while his counter part, Derek Anderson, went 9-24 for 137 yards. I think Edwards look uncomfortable in the snow, as many of his passes sailed inaccurately into the blizzard. He was [...]

Buffalo Bills take bus home from Cleveland after charter plane gets stuck in mud (AP) - (12/17)

The Buffalo Bills charter plane got stuck in the mud Monday, so the team traveled home by bus. The pilot took too wide a turn from one taxiway to another at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and the front wheel of the plane got stuck, airport spokeswoman Pat Smith said. The team was not on board the plane.

Snow job: Lewis plows for 163 yards as Browns beat Bills (AP) - (12/16)

On a perfect day to build a snowman, the Cleveland Browns put one up on the scoreboard. Jamal Lewis plowed for 163 yards and Phil Dawson managed to kick two field goals through harsh, wintry winds as the surprising Browns improved their postseason chances with an 8-0 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
