    Losman faring well - (08/25)

LOSMAN FARING WELL: J.P. Losman is 13-19 (68%) passing for 108 yards prior to the current drive. But more important is his decision making has been very consistent. A solid performance thus far.

    Fantastic drive! - (08/25)

FANTASTIC DRIVE: For a drive that began deep in their own territory it was well called by Turk Schonert and well executed by J.P. Losman. Xavier Omon did a nice job coming in midway through the drive and has a natural nose for the end zone with almost 100 touchdowns in his college career (98).

Bills Team Report (Yahoo! Sports) - (08/25)

For quarterback Trent Edwards, the regular season is now. Edwards suffered a deep right thigh bruise in a collision with running back Marshawn Lynch's knee the day before training camp concluded at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, keeping him out of Sunday's third preseason game at Indianapolis' new Lucas Oil Stadium. The Bills wrap up the preseason at home against Detroit, but since these final dress rehearsals are all about keeping starters healthy, it's doubtful Edwards would see any action in that game either. That means the next time he sees a live pass rush will be Sept. 7 when the regular season kicks off against Seattle, a team with a very fast defense, led by defensive end Patrick Kerney. "It's making minimal progress, day to day," said...

Colts christen new stadium with game vs Bills (AP) - (08/23)

The Indianapolis Colts are still trying to get comfortable in their new environment. Peyton Manning hasn't dressed for a game, the starting offense still hasn't scored a touchdown in the preseason, and the team hasn't played in Indy yet. Even the $720 million Lucas Oil Stadium doesn't feel quite like home yet -- something that will start to change Sunday night when the Colts host Buffalo in the...

Bills rookie CB McKelvin off to inconsistent start (AP) - (08/20)

Three weeks into cornerback Leodis McKelvin's first NFL training camp, the Buffalo Bills' first-round pick has experienced the familiar waves of highs and lows that come with competing for a starting job. High point: Reading quarterback J.P. Losman's eyes during practice, McKelvin perfectly timed his burst to intercept a pass and return it up the left sideline as his teammates cheered.

TE Royal adding punch to Bills passing attack (AP) - (08/18)

The ever-playful Robert Royal wasn't in the mood for talking, which is a rarity when it comes to the extroverted veteran Buffalo Bills tight end who normally greets people by putting his arm around their shoulder and cheerfully asking how they're doing. Not on Sunday and, curiously, not after he and the Bills should have been upbeat in returning for their first practice back at training camp since...

Buffalo Bills TE Schouman out with knee injury (AP) - (08/17)

Buffalo Bills tight end Derek Schouman missed practice Sunday and is out indefinitely with a strained left knee, all but ending his chance to win the starting job out of training camp. Coach Dick Jauron said trainers informed him that it will be weeks before Schouman is expected to be cleared for practice, meaning the player likely will miss the Bills' two final preseason games.

Bills backup OT Murphy hurts shoulder in practice (AP) - (08/11)

Buffalo Bills reserve offensive tackle Matt Murphy was driven to a hospital shortly after hurting his left shoulder during practice Monday night. Coach Dick Jauron didn't have an immediate update on the severity of Murphy's injury. He said the player was having tests. The Bills' depth at tackle was further depleted when backup Robert Estes left practice after hurting his left leg during the team's...

Bills offensive struggles deja vu for WR Evans (AP) - (08/11)

Buffalo Bills fans worried about this year's offense initially looking no better than last year's anemic attack aren't alone. Receiver Lee Evans shares the concerns after what he saw in the Bills' preseason opener. "No doubt about it," Evans said Monday, the Bills' first day back at training camp following a 17-14 loss at Washington last weekend.

Redskins QBs again sharp in 17-14 win over Bills (AP) - (08/09)

After two games, the trend is hard to miss. Those Washington Redskins quarterbacks are looking pretty sharp under new coach Jim Zorn. Whether it's Jason Campbell with the starters or Todd Collins with the backups, Washington's quarterbacks are putting up the kinds of numbers they would love to replicate in the regular season.

Rookies get their chances as Redskins host Bills (AP) - (08/08)

Ah, August in the NFL, when a football fan's fancy turns toward thoughts of rookies, especially the ones who look so good in the second halves of otherwise meaningless preseason games. Alas, such love affairs are often fleeting and quickly forgotten. "Rookies are fine and dandy and I'm glad to see them progressing, but I don't fall in love with rookies," Washington Redskins defensive coordinator...
